Hello, and welcome!
I'm a product design leader in the San Francisco Bay Area. I've spent the last eleven-plus years designing and building consumer and enterprise software. For eight of those years, I've hired, built, and coached high-trust, high-performing design teams. I’ve designed products for consumer fintech, enterprise financial management and supply chain, enterprise system integration and API management, low-code and pro-code developer and security tools, customer data platforms, and agentic workflow automation.
I'm excited about the pragmatic, hands-on, problem-solving side of design. I'm passionate about building strong teams, growing design talent, making complex software work better for people, and crafting experience strategies that drive business results.
Most recently, I was a Senior Product Design Manager at Salesforce, where I led global design teams working on low-code automation tools and enterprise AI customer data platforms. My Salesforce tenure began with three years at MuleSoft, where I led a global team that designed experiences for building and managing APIs on MuleSoft's Anypoint Platform.
Before joining Salesforce, I led a team of designers and researchers at Workday, where I focused on making enterprise financial and supply chain software simple and intuitive. Before Workday, I was a Senior Interaction Designer and Innovation Catalyst at Intuit, where I led design for the QuickBooks Online home page and first time use experiences. I designed and delivered UI patterns for the product ecosystem, new user engagement strategies and guided setup experiences.
I have a Masters degree in Communication & Interaction Design from the School of Design at Carnegie Mellon University, and a B.A. from UC Berkeley in English with a minor in Rhetoric, just for fun. In a past life, I administered research contracts and managed multimillion-dollar budgets for engineering faculty and researchers at UC Berkeley.
A lifelong love of music led me to do a Masters thesis on music festival user experience during my time at Carnegie Mellon. It's been downloaded over 4,700 times. People from around the world continue to reach out to me about it, and have cited it in their experience design research work.
Nearly two decades ago, I hand-coded my first website to learn how, and because I was excited to design something of my own. Years later, I built my first UX design portfolio from scratch in HTML5 and CSS3. This time, I rebuilt this site in code with Claude Code and Cursor (with a little help from Gemini and a few other models), then shipped it with GitHub and Vercel. I kept the spirit of my old Squarespace design, but modernized and customized it along the way.
